Manuscripts that have received an acceptance decision are prepared for publication according to the journal's publication cycle and editorial readiness. Before an article is published, the editorial team completes the necessary stages, including revision, copyediting, final checking, and preparation of the article for its assigned issue.
The publication of an accepted manuscript therefore depends not only on the acceptance decision but also on the completion of the required editorial and production stages. Articles are assigned to an issue when the manuscript is considered ready for publication and the available issue schedule permits its inclusion.
Acceptance of a manuscript does not necessarily mean that the article will appear in the immediately following issue. The final issue assignment is determined by the editorial team after considering manuscript readiness, completion of the publication process, and the journal's publication schedule.
The manuscript receives an editorial acceptance decision after completing the required review process.
Revisions, copyediting, proofreading, and other publication requirements are completed.
The completed article is considered for inclusion in an available publication issue.
The article is published online as part of the designated BIMA issue under the journal's open-access policy.
BIMA seeks to maintain its regular publication cycle throughout the year. However, circumstances affecting the editorial or production process may require adjustments to the publication schedule.
If a change becomes necessary, the editorial team will make the appropriate arrangements and provide relevant information through the journal's official communication channels.
BIMA is committed to maintaining a regular publication schedule and providing clear publication information for authors, reviewers, readers, and other members of the scholarly community. The bimonthly publication model allows the journal to maintain a continuous flow of research dissemination while preserving the editorial standards applied to every published article.
